Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
Prepare detailed auto service estimates using automotive diagnostics and auto estimating tools
Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure accurate repairs
Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension, alignments, shocks & struts, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
Manage service writing processes to document repairs accurately and efficiently
Handle cash transactions and process payments securely at the point of sale
Follow up with customers on vehicle status updates and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service process

Requirements

Proven dealership experience or auto service management background in a high-volume shop setting
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures
Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing practices
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services confidently
Hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background preferred
Automotive sales experience is a plus but not required
